WORLD OF THE PLAY
The play is a dark comedy that tells the story of a group of survivors recalling and retelling "Cape Fear," an episode of the TV show The Simpsons, shortly after a global catastrophe. It then examines the way the story has changed seven years after that, and finally, 75 years later. The story takes place over a span of 82 years. The inspiration for the production focus is a unity of ensemble instead of specifying each character. The color and fabric texture move from one act to the other to create a holistic picture of the play.
